I think I'd still prefer the original game. Part of what made it charming was the graphics, horrid as they may be by today's standards.
Not to mention they'll probably **** it up by trying to add in extra stuff that ruins the original feeling, like making Cid more child-friendly (aka not our dear ****ed off engineer) or make Sephiroth even more of a pretty-boy faggot to attract more fangirls.
