Voted for Obama.
Voted Democrat down the rest of the ballot, too.
Voted on some of the propositions.
what propositions were there
A couple of propositions about home ownership, one to amend the state constitution to ban gay marriage, one about pay day loans, a few other ones.
how did you vote
If I were American, I'd vote Obama. I generally dislike liberals (They're much too liberal around here.), but Obama is exactly what America needs right now. There's enough tension in the world without McSame. (I liked that nickname. Very informative.)
(I liked that nickname. Very informative.)fyi i first saw it yesterday, it was scrawled on the wall of a university library toilet, my **** owned after that
Obama.
I voted yes on both state propositions.
what were they
mccain will win
called it the day he was nominated
how did you vote
Prop 100: Block the legislature from enacting a real estate transfer tax. Voted Yes.
Prop 101: Guarantee that Arizonans can choose their own health care. Voted yes.
Prop 102: Amends the constitution to recognize marriage as only between one man and one woman. Voted no.
Prop 105: Any initiative that imposes additional taxes or spending, in order to pass, would require support from a majority of qualified electors (not just those voting). Voted yes.
Prop 202: Increases penalties on cash-based businesses who bypass current laws as well as employees who engage in identity theft to verify employment eligibility. Voted yes.
Prop 300: Raises legislator salaries from $24,000 to $30,000. Voted no.
I did not vote on propositions 200 or 201.
I voted for Obama, aswell as the rest of the dems that were running.
I was a bit dissapointed looking at Iowa's local ballot measures:
Yes/No : use 20 million tax dollars to improve conservation of land, lakes, rivers, and streams.
I voted yes because I'm sick of the Iowa River looking like a movie's clich
the hell, I thought you were an aussie
Prop 1: Legalized medicinal marijuana. Only accessible through prescription.
Prop 2: Allow for medical waste to be used towards embryonic stem cell research.
Voted Obama. The rest was Democratic/Libertarian.
Obama.
I voted yes on both state propositions.
I do too.
I wish I was literate
This is a blowout. As of right now:
Electoral Votes

270 to win. Don't **** up, California
Mcain is catching up.
Obama:207
Mcain: 141
I voted Obama, my parents voted Obama as well.
Is there some site where you can follow this?
Edit: Nevermind. Found a channel.
YES
Cool

Hooray

Obama won.
McCain Lost :(
I cannot stop smiling. :)
I'm even using emoticons non-ironically for the first time in forever. :)
I'm glad, but I hope everything goes smoothly. Fairly certain I heard ****** at least 5 times from the crowd at McCain's concession speech.
Didn't bother voting. I knew Obama would win from the start solely because he was the Democrat nominee. No clue who my family voted for.
YEAH!
Wonder what will be on the dinner table for his first meal in the white house?
Is that a KFC joke?
I believe so. Coming from someone who voted for him, at that.
Wow.
Its cool man, I'm not racist I voted 4 Obama. :)
Edit: Omg! Who was that guy that requested to get banned if Mcain lost? I think he was in a vgchat brawl tournament.
As opposed to what? Mooseburgers on Palin's? :/
yeah, protoman.
take your ban like a man.
Eh, I preferred Obama to McCain, so I suppose I'm happy. After hanging out with a lot of Fundamentalist Christians for a while, I kinda wanted them not to get their way in this country for once.
netman disagrees: go fist yourself
Don't be a *******, im entitled to my opinion just as you are. i had my reasons for supporting McCain, just as you had yours for Obama. Now, I dont feel like debating them now, since its redundant to do so, but don't be a ******* about my opinions.
Evidently, your opinions were wrong.
Did it to be a dick.
also, **** yeah obama
ew, the first few presidents had horrible hair
Don't be a *******, im entitled to my opinion just as you are. i had my reasons for supporting McCain, just as you had yours for Obama. Don't be a *****, He's entitled to his opinion just as you are. He has his reasons for supporting the ban, just as you have yours for acting the way you do. Now, I don't feel like debating right now, since it's redundant to do so, but don't be a ***** about Netman's opinions.
Hurray for Obama!
well, at least america finally did something right.
Voted for Obama and every other democrat on the ballot. I'm quite pleased with the results tonight; 338 electoral votes for Obama is an absolute landslide.
If you honestly get upset when someone online tells you to go fist yourself, you need to look in the mirror and wonder where your parents when wrong to raise you as such a pathetic pussy.
yeah, that's pretty sad in a funny way.
yeah, that's pretty funny in a sad way.
go fist yourself, you guys
was kinda surprised prop 8 won here. other than that all fairly predictable results.
So equal rights is banned? Haha, wow.
fuck fags
WILL DO
waitwait a ban on same-sex marriage passed in california? I need a link because I can't find anything on it other than "it's really close"
I tried to sleep, and people were shouting outside like if new york won the world series. Landslide, more like mud slap, good golly it's going to be a happy day

This campaign speech is so much better.
Why he won-

Why did Hitler rise to power? Because the Entente left Germany with a weak infastructure that created a power vacuum. The same thing will happen in Iraq if America pulls out immidetly. Then, all your deaths will be in vain. Its the same reason why Canada is still in Afghanistan.
Yeah, the ridiculous war-debts had nothing to do with it. Hitler was a very strong leader who managed to rally the German people using the Jews/weak previous leaders as scapegoats.
Secondly, his demilitarization policies in general are foolish, with Korea and Iran knocking on the back door, eighty percent of the Arabs screaming "death to America," and Russia looming over a broken USA, to demilitarize would be stupid.
You sound quite paranoid. If America goes for a more peaceful way, there is no reason for anyone to attack. People in general dislike America because they shoot first and ask questions later. And, even if someone did attack, the UN would take action, seeing as how the US has a great deal of power there.
Wheres the liberty in raising the taxes of the rich?
They have more money, they can afford higher taxes. Having it the other way simply means that you're widening the gap even further between rich and middle class/poor.
Why did Hitler rise to power? Because the Entente left Germany with a weak infastructure that created a power vacuum.
godwin is pleased
with Korea and Iran knocking on the back door
Okay, you've been won over by virtue of fearmongering alone.
Nothing to see here.
Didn't bother voting. I knew Obama would win from the start solely because he was the Democrat nominee. No clue who my family voted for.you're a faggot
was kinda surprised prop 8 won here. other than that all fairly predictable results.****, this awesome day has been tinged with sadness :(
just watched mccain's losing speech, i feel kinda bad for him. the part where the he says he's proud of barack obama and the crowd boos and mccain is like 'please... dont...'
:(
mccain is a good man, but he would make a fairly horrible leader.
nothing, however, is as tragic as this image:
I can imagine what's it like to become president. The alien secrets the US president must not release to the public about the Roswell UFO Incident. Human technology has advanced greatly since the UFO incident in 1947 such as Apple's iPhone.
My biggest concern is his economic plan. He promises to cut middle class taxes and raise it on the rich. Wheres the liberty in raising the taxes of the rich? But thats a different issue altogether. Sure cutting middle class taxes will benefit in the short term, but if the rich are taxed heavier, expect layoffs and an unemployment rise in the long term.
You have no grasp of economics. Nothing more need be said.
Less taxes != more jobs.
Less taxes = More jobs sent overseas.
How is it that fiscal conservatives still say lowing taxes is good when the past 8 years have proved otherwise? Do they even look at the ****ing statistics they run their mouths on? Less taxes hasn't increased US's job growth because our country seems to be in denial of the effects of globalization. Cut taxes = job growth for cheaper labor in other countries &! USjobs. It's quite funny to hear how bad socialism will be to our economy when China's GDP is growing just fine.
Also, what's up with this all or nothing bull ****? It's not asif we can't adopt certain socialist policies without going completely socialist (since going socialist is a very bad thing according to so many with so few reasons). eeck. politics...
What this country really needs is to not have a bi-party system. Until that day comes (which it never will) there needs to be equal division between the parties that are placed in power. With Bush ruling with a stupid fist for the past 8 years and proving himself to be one of the worst presidents in history, the time for a republican candidate is well since gone. This country needs a democrat, just like 4 to 8 years from now, we'll need a republican. You can't have a country that prides itself on equality between all ideals run by a singular way of thinking.
as if the USA would ever implement proportional representation, lol
Prop 8 passed? That's gay.
grrrr!!!!!!!!! *Makes a ban request for every member here that voted for Hussein!!* Gah!!!

requesting a ban
i know i'm a teensy bit late, but
obama's your mama mccain's a pain
Unrelated to the election, I had KFC for dinner Tuesday evening.
Also, I ran a torrent this morning when I woke up. Got a full Mbps of download speed. I thank Obama.
This phenomena will hence forth be known as the OBAMA BOOOST
How ****** up does the country have to be for Americans to say, only 7 years after 9/11: "You know what sounds good right now? A black guy with a muslim name"
This election is so monumental in so many ways that i actually feel proud to have been on the supporting side of the party that won and made history happen. Time for Obama to usher in a new era of socialism and gay marriage.
I'm glad president Fox(Mexico's ex president) decided not to get involved in the war. Too many Mexicans are already fighting for USA that joined the army in USA.
Bribing wetbacks with papers if they join the army is also not cool.
brilliant though
Bribing wetbacks with papers if they join the army is also not cool.
It's a waste of federal tax dollars and further proof that our own government is not always there to work for us. I can see US military communications being a failed branch, what with all the language barriers being dumped back in-in bulk from that method. Enlistment contracts should be amended with a permanent check box (for US citizens) listing if they are fluent in Spanish.
If I could put a name on this, I'd call it "Operation Taco Shield".
