So how is everyone doing with their romantic lives? Any recent girlfriends/boyfriends you want to talk about?

Ok, so I just took a long vacation with a girl I've been seeing since Dec of 2007. I had a great time, and admittedly it was pleasant having her for company. We spent 3 months together. That's, like, 90 days and 90 nights, in a foreign country, exploring new areas, seeing new sights, learning a new language, tasting new foods, etc.

Ever since we returned to Hawaii, however, I've felt like moving on. I kept quiet about it for the first couple days, but then decided it was best to tell her about it. Not easy! She got all ****y and illogical about things. Here I am trying to share my feelings with her and she thinks I'm attacking her! The nerve.

Pretty much I feel like my time with her was fun, romantic, and very adventurous. I'll never forget her and I feel I need the opportunity to prove that.

Recently hung out with a girl for a while thinking we'd start dating... Even got to where we told each other we were interested. Then within a couple dates it became apparent that we had misconceptions about each other, which makes sense because we'd only been showing our good sides before.

So now I'm focusing on being more open with people I meet, but it's hard when there's a girl I want to impress! Gotta start hanging around the art and music buildings on campus because that's where the open-minded chicks are at.

You might think that, but I've been getting tons of chicks without having a job. I haven't worked for about 5 months now! Ive been workingt way too much for way too long. I havent really has any new prospects for girls for some time. The closest I've come is talking more and more with an ex/currentfriend/who knows.

Although I have no doubt that if your out on deployment and you go to war with China, the non-quals would be first to get out of the sub to get shot down, and they'd probably be followed by the cooks. Also, cooks are over manned and have trouble making rank. Nukes don't have that trouble. You got nub nukes that are 2nd classes, while experienced qualified cooks are still E-3, which seems goofy to me. Much of the Navy system, and I'm sure you'd agree, seems all messed up.
