This has been bugging me for a while now. Why does everybody hate rapidshare so much? It gets the job done just fine, imo. The file size limit is larger than mediafire (which people seem to love), so unless I'm not picking up some of the subtle nuances of uploading, I really don't see a problem.
It can be slightly slow when it comes to downloading from time to time, but other than that I haven't actually seen anything worth hating it for. Could be from before it got an overhaul though.
I dislike it because it has the longest waits (I usually get around 60 seconds, have gotten 90 before), and because it has a history of terrible "captcha's." Like that cat one. never hated cats so much in my life

I can't stand waiting an hour or so to download the second part on an album or a video. I can't stand the 90-60 second wait time. **** rapidshare.
Even megaupload is better. Wait times, sure, but they're only 45 seconds and the download speed is more than adequate. So why people still use RS is a mystery to me.
Sign up? eeeeeeeeeeh. I'll just wait the 45 seconds. It's not that bad really. Now, if it was 60 seconds I would for sure sign up.
I'm fine with Megaupload. The wait times are fine by me, and you can download more than one thing (one after another) until a certain limit is exceeded.

Yeah, the only problem is that if a video is cut into 2 files, I'm ****ed. I won't wait for 50-60 minutes to download the second half. ****! But yeah if it's one video as a whole, than sure, I'll be fine with that. Otherwise I have no problems with Rapidshare.
