I mean, before I move to Florida.
I was thinking Vancouver, but it rains all the time. **** that.
So now I'm thinking Toronto. But if winters are gay there, then nvm.
Underground!
Too cold.
Then move closer to the earth's core.
So you're looking for someplace that's warm/clear with mild winters?
Pretty much.
Actually, I want it to be blazing hot all year round.
Phoenix.
it's 100 here right now and I want to die. I'm so ****ing sick of the heat. can't wait for winter.
It's only 17 here. ****
How boring is Phoenix?
never really been. just know it's warm there even in winter. probably no more boring than where you live though
Come to Iowa. It'll make everything seem exciting once you leave :D. Actually, It's not so bad, but I still wouldn't recommend it as an "awesome" place.
Why would you want to move to America now of all times? That place is a ****hole now.
Torontonians sounds like some sort of alien race. COOL
sounds like a species of dinosaur
lisasaurus
what are winnipegers called? Winnipegonians? Winnipegians? Winnipegites? Winnipegers?
I don't want to live in america. It's just Florida is awesome and hot.
Lol wtf?
Plus your healthcare system is lame.
Granted...
But Florida isn't awesome. It's hot, but not awesome.
-20, that's it? That's really nice. I hate winter here so much, -50 is retarded. And I love warm, humid summers. Is Uni expensive there do you know? I'm going to start here because it's cheap but I'm not sure how much longer I can handle this weather. -5 winters sound pretty sweet to me.
I'd love to live somewhere exotic but I also love big cities. If I did move to Toronto it probably wouldn't be right IN Toronto but maybe Mississauga? Somewhere on the outskirts-ish but still in the city. I would hate living downtown. What are the cheaper areas? Decent, cheap areas? What are the bad areas?
Well, there's UFT which is one of the best universities in Canada if I recall. When I was applying for courses I think undergrad was around 10 to 15 thousand or something. I think that's about typical these days, but I'm not sure.
As for places around toronto, it really depends where you want to live or how far. There's a ton of areas in the GTA and some are really bad and some are really good. It's just you'll want to live near a transit system if you plan to work within toronto. Like New York or other big cities, forget about driving. Can't really recommend at outlying area in GTA though, because I'm not totally familiar with them. All my friends there live near or in downtown (which is incredibly expensive...)
But if you don't mind driving into the city for around an hour there's a lot of nice places. I live an hour away and my city is a nice one, and there's a handful of others lying just outside of the GTA. Just depends on what you'd like I guess.
Oh, so people don't drive much within the city? Cause in Winnipeg that's what everyone does, the transit system here is a joke. Right now I live a couple streets away from the UofM which is really nice. I don't want to have to drive an hour to get anywhere, really. Living by the university is awesome, but it's probably expensive like it is here, right? What are apartment rents like?
Well, like I said, it's like New York. You can't drive because the traffic is so bad, so you have to rely on buses, trains and subways. As for apartments, really depends where you plan to live. I can only go on what I know from people I know, and that ranges from $800 a month to $2,000. The former being a pretty nice place just outside of downtown, and the rent is split with a roommate.
Well that sucks. I've never ridden the bus here and I don't plan on doing it anywhere else on a regular basis. **** it, I'll just wait until I'm done school and then move to cali.
Cali's worse than Florida... :/ I don't get you.
i seen florida on tv once
Anything south of LA sucks, pretty much. I used to say that everything south of SF sucked, but I've gained some respect for LA in recent years. Nothing beats San Francisco, though. Also, I can't fucking believe that at least several people in SF said that they'd rather live in SD than their city just because of the Mexican food. Yeah I know it's good, but I mean... come ON. You're not missing that much!
But yeah, where do you get this whole "Cali sucks harder than Florida" thing? Genuinely curious.
CALIFORNIANS UNITE!
Dude, move to North Carolina. It's like a boiling Canada with a lot of black people. Charlotte is a pretty amazing city. Right down your alley I bet. Hot, nice people, big city and downtown, but with a lot of nice outlying areas to live in. Yeah, totally the perfect place.
california sucks
What part of California did you move from?
Orange County.
Ah, then no wonder you didn't like it. Not trying to convince you otherwise, but I will say that NorCal rocks the shit out of most of SoCal.
Or wait, I remember you said you moved because of earthquakes. Yeah, those are everywhere. Understandable.
Well, that's why my mom and dad moved anyways. Not like I sat up in my crib and said I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THESE ****ING EARTHQUAKES. I'M OUTTA HERE
Earthquakes are fun. Tell your parents ANT from VGC said they are pussy faggots.
Just sent an email to my dad with that in quotations.
LOL. Looking forward to the response.
I'd ask you to send something like that to my mom's e-mail, but she'd probably freak out and think someone was stalking her :(
But yeah, be sure to post the response.
It won't be funny. He's a super serious guy.
and yet you sent him an email with me calling him a "pussy faggot". nice
He has a terrible temper, nothing he hasn't heard or said.
didnt you say your dream for 10 years time is to be living in a cabin until your dad dies?
hell yeah
But Vamp also said he was looking forward to getting married in one thread, and then said how much marriage sucks in another. I don't know what to believe!!! Maybe he actually wants to have a Smash Brawl Father and Son moment in 10 years!!!
Ah yes... Another of my fluff posts completed.
I don't think Vamp knows what he wants.
I'm the same way!
hahahaha oh jeez
so what happens now? are you likely to actually "talk" or is he going to forget about it?
He'll likely call me in a couple days to question my choice in friends. I've had this talk before with him.
As a grim person, don't you already question your choice of friends anyway?
no, as a grim person I'm indifferent to what happens around me
man, that response is classic parent.
Tell your parents ANT from VGC said that response was classic parent.

If he's a parent of a 12 year old. Haven't been told "we need to talk" in a long time
does your dad still live with you?
oh man, he's gonna google Ant and VGC and HELLA stalk you dude.
**** yeah california
Does your dad have a cat?
Mine? Yeah. Had two until recently, but one was a kitten that would jump on counters, sit on clothes and play "too rough" with the older cat so instead of doing anything positive about it my dad gave it away.
k your dad was cool for a second there.
Living in Hawaii would be awesome. I've considered moving there once I can afford to. being the freelance web developer I am, there's a lot of design inspiration there.
are you rich
One of my co-workers wants to move to Hawaii even though he has no money saved up, and still plans on finishing college. I'm perdicting he'll either accomplish one of his goals, or do niether.
Personally, I really only meant to visit Hawaii for a little while after I finished getting my AA degree, but there was enough to keep me entertained and now it looks like I'll probably live here for awhile longer, possibly a few years. I might even continue my academics here.
Although honestly, I enjoyed Oregon's rain and fog a lot more. It suits my general mood better and it still has an ocean, a much grimmer ocean. Oregon's Agalloch and Falkenbach, while Hawaii is The Beach Boys, Bob Marley, and Elvis Presley. What's Canada?
Neil Yong and Vinterriket. Grim, rebellious, though admittedly harmless and enjoyable, and often uplifting, folk rock of Young mixed with the cold, desolate ambience of Vinterriket.
I haven't spent more than a month in Canada but from what little I did gather, it was dull, at least when compared to America. Maybe it's the sadistic, psychotic behavior here that I find interesting. Or maybe there's more history here. I don't know much of anything about Canadian history and I don't see anything interesting happening there in the future, so my fascination with the place is minuscule. I like to be in places with action. If there's something note-worthy going on somewhere, that's where I'd like to be. Also, if I was ever going to move out of America, Canada would be one of the last places I'd choose because it really isn't all that different from America, at least when it comes to the qualities I'm looking for. What sort of boring move would that be?
Honestly, I'm starting to plan my next major trip and my sights are set on Yerevan, Armenia. From there I want to make my way towards Georgia and see how far I can go from there. Doubt I'd ever want to live there, but I'd love to spend some time around those areas to discover how I feel.
Japan was too na
Where in Canada did you go? It was probably winnipeg. No wonder you hate it.
I don't hate it. I just don't see anything special about it, especially when it comes to my needs. I think I'm too adventurous for a place like Canada. Maybe if I saw a few highlights my idea of Canada would alter.
I don't even remember the places I saw. My sister lives somewhere a few hours drive above Montana. I've been all around that side of Canada a lot more than your side.
You were probably just in the prairies. Prairies suck, you need to go to BC. I bet you'd like Vancouver.
I bet I'd be totally bored. Does Canada have much of a difference when it comes to comparisons to American culture?
You're right, Canada sucks, it's the same. Go to Iraq, you'd have fun there!
If you want adventure then don't come to Canada. Don't go anywhere in North America because it's all the same with minor variations. Now, if you want sight-seeing or experiencing some of the nicer locations that nature has to offer in this world, well, that's what Canada is for.
That's why I would consider Canada a good vacation location. I wouldn't want to live there at all. Really, when it comes to my current situation, Hawaii is an ideal location to live. It offers a mix of Asian and American culture.
so, basically toronto
hawaii, toronto. same ****ing thing.
if you want asian + american, yeah!
I always thought of Toronto like Seattle. I'll have to check it out sometime.
Vancouver is seattle
winnipeg is like no other
frozen hellhole is like winnipeg
i hate my life
moved yet?
Hurry up and move somewhere worth visiting, Lisa. I don't want to go to Canada again.
Soon...
I might just do a few years of school here, first. Or maybe just one. idk, I have a really good job that's ideal for getting me through school!
prostitution
Just get a sugar-daddy already.
like dexter
hmm good idea
dexter doesn't love me :(
I know that trick. Shin-Ra warned me about it.
my love for you was so strong, so pure
I think the real question here is why the **** your font isn't yellow.
doesn't give enough of a **** to colour her text.
it's like removing your avatar to show apathy.
OHHHHHHH.
still, I have my text color set in my options. take more effort to remove it.
like an avatar
I thought I would be cool and have it white like everyone else. Or should I change it to pink again.
but yeah, don't care
looks like you were right vamp. good job.
Most people from Winnipeg think Torontonians are pussies for thinking a Toronto winter is actually winter anyways.
I vouch for that, you pussies. Nah Torontos cool, got every sport I can think of, lots of stuff going on all the time. Most likely moving there later
As for you, move to Calgary, great atmosphere, has chinooks(spelling?) which is really awesome during the winter, 2 hour or so drive to Edmonton, and hardly any humidity during summer
meh, not warm enough. Winters are still too cold.
