Bolt

Anybody seen the previews the new Disney animated movie? It's supposed to be really entertaining, and I think it looks pretty solid. Comes out right around thanksgiving, I think it will be a pretty big movie.

lol

Doesn't look entertaining to me.

It'll probably be more entertaining than your current signature, Xero..

yeah whatever

Speaking of trolls-
I was just bangin' your mum the other day, under a bridge Xero..
and thanx for raeping me. May I have another?
Eh, Bolt does appear to just be another mediocre Pixar family film with mediocre values and mediocre plot about a mediocre dog with mediocre chemistry towards it's viewers.
But still not quite as mediocre as Xero's sig..

Miley Cyrus WAS ALMOST the sole reason I wasn't going to see it.. but then I re-read the first post in this thread. Who am I kidding, I promised my girlfriend 2 months ago that I'd allow her to drag me into it.

Gah!

CG Animated Film =/= Pixar

Since the days of cartoon animated films are (sadly) over, all major studios do CG movies, including Disney. A Disney CG film is not a Pixar CG film.

All of Pixar's movies have actually been pretty good quality in my opinion, and that's the general concensus. Just for the record:

Toy Story
Toy Story 2
A Bug's Life
Monsters, Inc
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Cars
Ratatouille
WALL-E

All exceptional films, except for Cars, which to me, was pretty lacking, but still better than most the stupid CG crap that comes out these days. What happened to the age when animated movies were good? And not good to us because we were little kids, but because they were actually good? As in, Beauty-and-the-Beast-getting-nominated-for-Best-Picture good.

Love the direction Disney is going in with there animation department. I think Bolt is going to be a pretty big hit for them. Looks like an entertaining story, plus fantastic looking animation.

WELL, IT'S ABOUT FSCKING TIME WE RETURN TO 2D ANIMATION, HALLELUJAH.

Posted by Burn

...Well it actually in 3D... where 3D projection screens are available. In regular theaters I still it has the 3D feel to it, but not actual 3D animation.

Here, you can get a better look at the animation in this extended clip. Pretty funny clip, in my opinion.

So basically Bolt is a redition of Buzz Lightyear's Toy Story one persona, except it's with a dog thinking he's a hero instead of space ranger. Why is this going to be awesome again?

Nice hamster poke at Heath's Joker..

Could be worse, Disney usually ****es me off whenever they release anything these days.

This movie feels like more of a roadtrip movie, with the characters on a journey to save that girl. So I don't think it's really comparable to Toy Story 3. And movies always have characters acting as things they're not. Look at Tropic Thunder or even the TV show Chuck.
