Packed up my camping gear, left the Highlands behind, walked along the coast to my pickup point and then chilled out at a ye olde tavern and had a haggis sandwich. Afterwards I rode the bus home, lay on my bed for a few hours, got up and cooked some chicken for dinner, then played skate and Tiger Woods 09 for a while before chilling on the VGC.

Well first thing I did 7 minuted before midnight is I gave my sister her birthday present, an iPod Nano 4 GB. Played some Team Fortress then went to bed. Got woken up by my friend who had to be a dick and want to hang out which made me only get around 5 hours of sleep since I went to bed at 4 in the morning.
We went out to eat but were indecisive for awhile so we drove until we decided to go to this Hispanic deli. Saw a Church car wash taking place and with my car having a giant bird ****stain I thought it'd be nice and cheap to do it there than a professional place. Got it washed, paid 100% tip (lol it was only 5 bucks), went to Target to buy a case for my Zune, went home, ate, played Halo 3 with friend.
He went home, I watched a newly subbed animu episode, played Bioshock, ran an errand for my aunt, went home to play more Bioshock and browse /a/ and /v/. Went to work at 5PM, did nothing but give out cancer sticks and gambling sin tickets for a good 4 hours and in between customers (Which would last for a good 30 minutes on average)I watched some anime, read an article on Kirby Superstar DS on Nintendo Power which convinced me to get it and listened to some music. Had 20 minute break to get pizza. Did lotto for another hour, went to best buy, bought Immortal Technique's Revolutionary Vol. 2, went to my aunts to see if my mom was there still celebrating my sister's birthday. They finished so I just gave them a ride home. Sat down, ate some left over cake, ripped the CD into my computer then Zune. Finally I typed this whole post.

Got up at 8:30 to help my parents pack their truck. Had breakfast with 94 year old grandma & cousins who live nearby. Took a walk and ate apples and a super hot chili from grandma's garden/orchard. Came home and picked wild blackberries, plums, pears, and apples. Ate delicious quesadillas with brother and his wife.
Overall, mega family hangout time, and it was awesome. I got re-networked with my family in the next city over, and made some awesome plans in the short and long terms.

Significance being that this is the icon of porkbarrel spending which McCain is supposedly against. Until he chose her, anyway.
That, and today a story came out about Palin trying to ban books from a local library. At least the library said **** YOU. It floors me that this neocon lot runs on a platform of classic American ideals, yet they'd stifle freedom given the chance to do so. And one other thing: the theme of the RNC this year is "country first". Palin was part of the successionist Alaskan Independence Party. Yeah, that's putting country first alright.

Well, it's a pretty awesome game. Terrible physics and it looks pretty bad, but it's mother****ing enjoyable all the way from level 1 to 51. Then it gets gay with upwards of 3,000 enemies on screen, 1,000 of which are 100 stories high.

Well that's EDF. Battling infinite giant ants and spiders is pretty intense, especially when the rest of your squad dies three seconds into the mission.
It only gets annoying when you have to delve underground, which you're forced to do a number of times. The ants and spider turn into a solid brick and the tunnels are narrow. So eventually you have walls of spiders blocking your way while you're still getting attacked by ants from another tunnel. They really messed that part up.

An hour and half UNTIL I tried activating that fan to get across that huge gap to the boss tower. I was over thinking the puzzle, trying to figure out how to clawshot that ball in the ceiling. I went though the entire temple a good three times trying to find a switch or something that would lower the ball or raise the floor or something. I even transformed into the wolf and ran around everywhere.
Only to realise after another hour you can clawshot the grate above the fan in the ceiling to lower yourself down. I hadn't played the game for awhile so I completely forgot what to do.

Well, that wasn't so hard to figure out. If the Special Ops turn up there to clean up, of course it'll be regarded as a conspiracy theory.
Which weapon is most effective against the Special Ops, the small chainsaws aside? Battle ax or the Katana? Shotgun takes maybe three-four shots before they go down, and about 40-50 rounds from the Machinegun. I lose waaaay too much health in every area, forcing me to shuffle back for more health all the time.

Also, I like the bug in the warehouse area. If you come in the other way (not the elevator), and have a ranged weapon with you (preferably a couple of machine guns), you can just stand up on the ledges and shoot at the Special Ops there. They try to run at you by running into a corner.

I've only ever been memory-loss-drunk once. And that was when I woke up in hospital with booze poisoning, and was cheerfully informed by the previous night's partygoers that I had vomited what seemed to be pure, belly-distilled alcohol and I had ruined a carpet or three.

Turns out my cousin is in my first class and neither of us knew it. study buddiez lol. It's basically a general science class.

Called my mom and asked for $80 for school stuff. Came to the conclusion I only have $50 to spend on food. Hopefully one of the places I've applied to contacts me soon.
