Amazingly enough, Children still love Snoopy. I'm not sure what exactly makes Charlie Brown stay popular, but it still is. Perhaps it's the christian overtones?
Or perhaps it's just the two holiday movies alone, you know, for Halloween and Christmas. I still love the scene where Charlie gets a rock for Halloween.
