nah. Halo's pretty hard to get really good at. So are pretty much every other game I can think of. And by good I mean really, really good.

It's just CoD4 is all about knowing the maps. That's it. Know where to go, know where people are going, find a path through them that fits your playing style and be quick in your movements and listen for footsteps. That's it. Simple.

I'm a total faggot for Halo. Still trying CoD4 before I buy it.

Someone over at Backloggery recommended CoD4 to me solely for the SINGLE player, though, so that, combined with the ****ton of praise it gets everywhere else, has me curious.

I think everyone has/will drive through a stop sign/red light at some point in their lives completely oblivious to it's existence.

I have Soul Calibur IV now, mainly due to the sheer unluckiness of my little brother. He found out yesterday that he got straight As in his end of year exams, and as a reward my mother let him pick 'as many games as he wanted' from the store. Hahahaha, how unfortunate that this is by far the biggest dry spell this year. He ended up with a bunch of moderately entertaining stuff, but if it had happened 2 months from now, he'd have easily passed up that ****.

I memorized the **** out of the scripted spawns in COD4 while I was playing on Veteran. I think it was worse in COD2, though.

Oh yeah, way worse in CoD2. Though I didn't bother memorizing spawns in either game. In CoD2 they just flooded out doors or sniped through windows. In CoD4 they were just everywhere. So unless the spawn was really obvious (like the left field in Heat after you get the airstikes, or in silo rooms in War Room) then it wasn't worth the time to memorize where guys were going to be. Just ****ing run for it shooting at everything that moves.
