OHHHHSHIIIIIII
That was fast. And it looks ****ing badass. Man, can't wait.
I don't know why, but there's something I just love about Casino Royale. For whatever reason, I think I feel confident in placing in my top five. This one looks just as good. I'm waaay excited.
Bourne 4 looks sweet
BOND MUST STOP BOLIVIA'S WATER SUPPLY BEING POISONED
I'M ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT
... This film will still ****ing rock, though.

Looks good! I'm definitely gonna go see that with a couple of friends.
Theme music is out? I must hear this. Mainly because Casino Royale's was actually pretty awesome.
yeah, jack white and alicia keys sing a pop duet

The dude from White Stripes? Gross. He doesn't seem like he'd have the voice for it at all. Alicia Keys, that I can see though.

TWO WEEKS AWAY FUUUUCK YEAH cant wait
just rewatched casino royale, still owns even though the poker scenes kinda make me cringe now that i play the game
I like how it's two weeks away and have barely seen any commercials on it.
Only promo I've seen is a HUGE subway poster on the way to university every day.
Yeah I noticed that there's nothing promoting it in Montreal Haven't seen anything on TV, on panels, nor on the newspapers. Weird.
So, I saw it, and I loved it.
I won't lie, I was getting a little worried after reading many reviews. Although they were all good reviews, each one consistently mentioned nonstop action scenes over and over. Sure enough, I went into the theatre, and that's what it was. It was constant action for the gird first third or maybe even half of the movie, but luckily, I felt a very noticeably change of pace about halfway through, where it felt much more like Casino Royale. It was this that saved the movie for me, and elevated it to me loving it. I would like to see it again, but that's not to say I didn't have complaints.
-For starters, it was pretty short. While this didn't necessarily hinder the movie, like almost all short movies, some more length could easily add much more depth to the story.
-The movie had Bourne syndrome. Blegh. For those who don't know what I'm talking about , I mean the style of action scenes where the filmers decide to say, "LOL LET'S PUT THE CAMERA HERE AND NOW HERE AND UP THERE AND OH HOW MANY CAMERA ANGLES CAN WE FIT INTO THREE SECONDS OF FILMING?" Sometimes for me, it worked, like in the opening car chase. And sometimes, it just really, really didn't, like in the footchase shortly after. I didn't expect the footchase in this movie to surpass Casino Royale's (Which, in my opinion, is the best footchase ever made in a movie), but due to the spazzy camera, it was nigh unwatchable for me.
-I also felt like the makers were trying to be uh, more artistically stylized when they were capable of. While it often worked, many things just seemed very out of place. The opera scene comes to mind.
-While this could be grouped with the above, this was a HUGE offender to me. Nothing that actually changes how much I like the movie, but in the moment, it's a huge annoyance. What on EARTH was up with the ridiculous, stylized cultural fonts for every new location? It was [I]absurd/I]. Whereas in any other Bond movie (Or uh, movie in general), "Paris, France" would show up in text on the screen in just a normal everyday font. In Quantum, "Paris, France" would show up as a loopy, artsy, "frenchy" text, which is ultimately completely out of place and tacky.
But still, I loved the movie. I may seem cynical about the whole thing, but in the end, I want to see it again, and the pros outweighted the cons. I suggest it.
so some of you fags should see this so it can be discussed
I wanted to see it tonight but they dragged me to Role Models instead. It had some cosplay, so it wasn't all that bad.
yeah but cosplay sucks, so I don't get the connection you're drawing here
I saw QOS. It was good. The action was awesome, as was the acting, and the locales. I didn't much like the ending, but it fit Bond just fine.
James Bond is like Jet Li and Matt Damon. Rotten Tomatoes rated it 66%. Maybe the other missing 40% is the lack of sophisticated technology such as Bond's life-saving gadgets, or the criminal's massive destructive weaponry vehicle or building structure. Enjoyable movie for fans who like to see heroes acting like quick-thinking light-injured soldiers.;)
Thanks dear for this nice trailer... Quantum of Solace is a great movie of the year... I saw it its really nice one.
I might be a little behind on this but I saw Quantum of Solace when it came out and I'm just not feeling Daniel Craig as Bond. Pierce Brosnan was way better.
