..good presentation of Ledger's twist on the Joker.
Obvioulsy having the film already on your harddrive, nothing in this trailer is new to you.
Word-
Man.
I mean, the ending..
The Joker becomes The Batman and Bebop gets anally sodomized by Two-Face, while trying to hotwire the Batpod.
Scarecrow is really back or what? That's my question.
Hey Tyler, remember that time you pretended you had a leak of The Dark Knight on your PC? Good times.
Saw the trailer; I can't wait any longer.
Hey Tyler, remember that time you pretended you had a leak of The Dark Knight on your PC? Good times.
Yeah-
Say, you wanna go in together on a leak for the RoboCop remake?
Or maybe that Predator remake, with John Cena?
You were funnier when you tried to convince everyone you had seen the completed film before the directer.
Shhhh Bebop, this is serious business.
Serious business has no time for funny business or funny characters-
only serious characters.
I'm affraid I can't play with you anymore. Your mom says it's bad for my health.
You're so funny you're unfunny.
Anyways, ignoring idiots for a second the trailer is good. Great to see a bit of Dent's inevitable fate.
And yes Dex Scarecrow is in it. Joker falls under his special gas.
I love that they chose Aaron Eckhart to play Harvey Dent. He kind of reminded me of Harvey in Thank You for Smoking.
Yeah, really good casting in that regard.
I like the gloomy violin Batman soundtrack. Righteous religious Christians forgive murderers who are spiritually demon-possessed. Come Judgement Day our Creator would send them to the burning lake as punishment for their evil. As for The Dark Knight he forgives but I believe he leaves a mind-destroying bat fever forever in the brains of villains.
:p:
Depends what they're looking for in a Two-Face. Doubt they're looking for someone over-the-top, and so far that seems to be the case. The character model is pretty basic, unlike past movie iterations. I could see Eckhart's Thank You for Smoking character working just fine as both Dent and Two-Face, actually.
So far? What exactly have you seen? The trailers.
Really, the new Batman series is trying so very hard not to be over the top. It's obvious he'll be a subdued version.
Here are the first two tv spots for the film.
The trailers.
Two-face isn't on the trailers. Harvey Dent and Two-Face are 2 seperate charcaters.

The model of Two-Face. He's not as extravagant, though more gruesome looking.
Even if real how he looks is meaningless if the character portrayel is poop. There is no footage showing Two-Face, just Harvery Dent. I love Nolan's approach to Batman but I'm not blindly going to love Two-Face on that. I wait to see more.
Makeup tests are pretty indicative of the direction they're taking, you know. I'm not saying it'll be amazing--though all main characters and villains so far have and look pretty top notch--but the makeup indicates that, like all villains, Two-Face will be pretty realistic, though completely deranged. And since Joker is basically a home-run Nolan is two for two right now. Two-Face will likely follow suit, I see no reason not to believe so.
Is that image real then? Proof! >:0
Like I said I trust Nolan, but then again I had high hopes for Spiderman 3.
Proof.
how does i google http://www.movieweb.com/news/24/26724.php
See here's the thing. I had seen that before but when you told me that the concept art of the GREEN Two-Face was real because there was an action figure of it I presumed the one I had seen was fake, and not that you cant tell the difference between colours. :)
I've never seen a green two-face image, so I don't know what you're talking about.
I see the confusion. You meant model as in the action figure, when I was referring to the make up model, seeing as an image was supposadly leaked when we started discussing it. I thought we were on the same track. Google it. It looks better than the action figure so if that's real I'll be disappointed.
Ah, well both seem to be along the same lines. More realistic, not nearly as over-the-top, etc.
The action figure image was released ages ago but nothing new has come about it so I'm starting to suspect to be fake. Surely whoever leaked it initally would have realeased more than one shoddy blurry photo given months?
Well it obviously wasn't an official photo, and was likely taken quickly with a cell phone, so who knows. Either way, you can guarantee that's the direction Nolan is taking.
With all this Two-Face talk here is a supposed leaked photo of Eckhart in make-up:
http://www.wwtdd.com/photo.phtml?post_key=5892&photo_key=13212
Nothing official or anything with this picture, but I personally would be very satisfied with this.
Fake if the action figure is real, which is a shame because it looks awesome.
I'm fairly certain that's shopped. It looks like Imhotep from The Mummy, in mid transformation.
3rd TV spot:

I saw them pics too; I wasn't sure if they were real though.
SPOILER ALERT, *******
My bad-
So, Joker DOESN'T make a hawt nurse?
So the nurse photo is fake?
Pretty sure it is.
Well, I guess it is likely that imdb photo of Two-Face is shopped since it doesn't match with the action figure, that's too bad, I really liked the look of that.
Pretty sure it is.
Pretty sure it isn't, as I can understand WHY the Joker would also be shown in police officer uniform.
Maybe that's the scene where he gives ole' Dent the acid-sponge bath?
Oh RS, what do you really know about fake photos and shopping them?
Your work is fake..
Tyler put us out of our misery and just load up the praite copy of the Dark Knight you acquired before anyone else, including the crew, and just tell us what Two-Face looks like already and whether nurse Joker is in it.
Oh alright, I'll try to get around to it by 07/18/2008..
Okay-
You know some people just say "lol I was wrong" or even try the ill-fated "lol i was joking/social experiment" response when their *** gets handed to them, so I give you credits for trying something original in douchefaggery.
Unlike most Americans, I'm not wrong-
I never even bothered downloading the film, it just became fun to claim I had it once bebop started hounding me, so I just decided to ride his nerves a bit.
And besides, it's possible to have a film months before release. Especially when said film is a planned summer release for say-
"This Years Summer Blockbuster" get.
The nurse photos are not fake-
This confirms why Joker would go drag:

POSSIBLE SPOILERS-
Plot theory:
Scarecrow hires the Joker for a hit against the Batman.
GCPD capture the Joker, after a rough run-in with the Batman.
Joker goes to trial upon "capture" from the Batman.
Joker severely injures Harvey Dent (during trial), sending him to Gotham General (hospital).
Joker breaks into GGH, as a nurse, to deliver an acid bath to Dent (in an attempt to kill him).
Thus birthing Two-Face.
And this-
The Dark Knight opens with Batman, Lieutenant James Gordon, and new district attorney Harvey Dent beginning to succeed in rounding up the criminals that plague Gotham City until the mysterious criminal mastermind known only as the Joker appears in Gotham, creating a new wave of chaos. Batman's struggle against the Joker becomes deeply personal, forcing him to "confront everything he believes" and to improve his technology to stop the Joker. During the course of the film, a love triangle develops between Bruce Wayne, Dent and Rachel Dawes.
Aaron Eckhart as district attorney Harvey Dent / Two-Face: Dent's battle with the Joker turns Harvey Dent into a murderous disfigured vigilante called "Two-Face". Producer Charles Roven described Dent as initially the "white knight of the city". Wayne sees Dent as his heir, which comes back to the theme of him realizing that being Batman will be a lifelong mission, and the tragedy that follows when Dent is corrupted. Whereas Two-Face is an evil villain in the comics, Nolan chose to portray him as a twisted vigilante to emphasize his role as Batman's counterpart, and Eckhart, who has played corrupt men in films such as The Black Dahlia, Thank You For Smoking and In the Company of Men, notes: "[He] is still true to himself. He's a crime fighter, he's not killing good people. He's not a bad guy, not purely", while admitting: "I'm interested in good guys gone wrong." Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer had originally considered using Dent in Batman Begins, but they replaced him with the new character Rachel Dawes when they realized they "couldn’t do him justice". Before Eckhart was cast in February 2007, Liev Schreiber, Josh Lucas, and Ryan Phillippe had expressed interest in the role. Nolan chose Eckhart, whom he had considered for the lead role in Memento, citing his "extraordinary" ability as an actor, his embodiment of "that kind of chiselled, American hero quality" projected by Robert Redford, and his subtextual "edge".
Please, everyone; post your own interpretation-
Sounds like they're going to turn Two-Face into more of an anti-hero or vigilante character. Not too sure how keen I am on that idea

Not sure if this has been posted, nothing much, just a clearer glimpse of Two-Faces burnt side
Bricks shat
Doesn't show much, but enough. Neat.
I like how Dent says "half" when the old guy claims he thought he was dead..
It's almost as if their making a joke about him having split personalities and cos he;s tow face hahaha aha dabvc bsf
I wasn't expecting him to have a differnet voice though. I thought it was Joker at first. How he says 'hello' sounds like Ledge himself.
Eh, he sounded like Eckhart to me.
Once Dent becomes Two-Face, he does don a multiple personality gimic-
as fitting to his character in the Batrealm. Sometimes you're hearing Dent speak to Batman in the comics, at other times his alter-ego (Two-Face) swings command.
Co-creator Bob Kane was inspired by a movie poster advertising the Spencer Tracy film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and conceived the idea of a villain with a dual personality.
Atleast Eckhart's not going to be a total douche like Tommy Lee Jones, and ALWAYS ****in' remain in the TF role.
edit: Yo' Vampy, I totally bol'd when I wiki'd Two-Face and noticed the Billy Dee Williams' version of Dent. Now Eckhart really seems like a huge ****ing-promising leap forward..
Tommy Lee Jones played Two-Face properly for that sort of film. He had to exaggerate the part and over-do the menacing laugh.
Two-Face should've never been a villain in that film. He was excluded from the 1960's television series for being deemed "too gruesome" a character to fit in alongside the rest of the almost goofy and inane villains Adam West would face. He was almost ruined for me, by Tommy Lee Jones. The 60's emulations in 'Forever' and 'Batman & Robin' were simply craptastic. The show sucked, those films both sucked, and while we're at it-
the Tim Burton flops sucked aswell.
Face it Dexter, you like **** for films.
Who the **** would Batman have left to arrest/fight later-on if Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher had kept killing off all of his enemies?
There's enough villains in Gotham City to move on to another after one dies. I'd rather they move on to new ones instead of dwelling on the old anyway. That was part of the fun for me with Joel's films.
Yeah, but a random cameo from past villains is also nice, to bring back old feelings of nostalgia you might've had towards the preceding films in that particular series.

Yeah I heard about that some time ago; I guess Jack Nicholson wanted to reprise the role himself.
Yeah, he was super ****ed when he wasn't asked back if I recall. Which made me chuckle cause he's a cutie.
The "Tim Burton Joker" is dead, and should remain dead. Horrible example, I mean, he listened to Prince. I see the Joker as being more into Mr. Bungle or Alice Cooper.
And talk about terrible catch phrases; "Have you ever danced with the Devil by the Pale moon light?" What the **** is that supposed to mean, anyway?
A: Prince is awesome and actually fits that Joker pretty well.
B: That quote is ****ing badass.
Your face is ****ing badass..
Yeah, I have to agree. Given the time frame the film was produced. I just hate Jack's Joker with a fiery passion. Felt too much like a homocidal Cesar Romero mock-up..

Niiiiiiiiiiiice.. more of a glimpse into the Two-face character.
Eckhart brandishing a gun, within the car with the other side of his face concealed away from camera. The coin flip on the table. And that early teaser clip of Dent venturing into the bar, but as an introduction to Two-face..
So it seems, he'll have a prominent role to look forward to.
Thanks for that, K'.. really made my day.
The only new Two-Face clip is the spinning coin. Save for a few new joker shots it's a pretty shoddy trailer. Ho hum not long to go for the real thing anyway!

Only cool logos to get tattooed on yourself is comic book logos. Because they never go out of style. Batman will always be cool.
Apparently Harvey Dent and Crane are in this one?
Yes. Scarecrow is apparently only at the beginning and then he's gone for the rest of the movie.
Yes. Scarecrow is apparently only at the beginning and then he's gone for the rest of the movie.
And that's not a good thing?
All You Need Is Love - is the Beatle's magic songline that will remain forever in the minds of fans past, present and future . The Joker's artistic talent for human torture and murder is like Jim Carrey as the crazy entertainer from The Mask but with cruel consequences that brainwashes audiences into thinking that love is hate to the max. We only use hate in the right circumstances such as preventing ourselves from falling in love with someone besides your partner in marriage, or to prevent angry motives to kill someone ridiculous. If the Joker returns to perform again, my guess would be Jim Carrey his repulsive voice hints being devilish and demented.

Jim Carrey was a massive insult to the Mask comics.. try and read one, sometime. He's more of a deviant than that ****ty flick portrayed him out to be.
The Nolans and Goyer have expressed that if Robin comes so much as a thought they're stopping the Batman films. No Robin. Not until Nolan's done with it anyway. Thank Christ.
Jason Todd ftw.. cause that nigga's dead..
Would be better never to ever ever see him. As soon as Robin enters the screen it will Schumacher all over again.
Just drop the Batman/Robin garbage and make a non-related spinoff.. Robin III. Possibly with the Huntress.
Robin got his *** handed to him all throughout the III arc.
