I brought it downstairs for some rock band, and when i plugged it in the bottom right light was red and a i got a E 74 error :'( looks like gta 4 is gonna have to wait
Did you leave it at that or keep trying?
i tried unplugging and pluggin it in a coupla times, tried a nother vido cable, and also tried turing it on without the hard drive. nothing worked :(
I sure hope it's still under warranty.

If it's not, and it will cost you more to ship and fix it than to buy a new one, check online and see if there's a way you can fix it yourself. If you're a technogeek, you'll be able to pull it off.:)
yea its not under warrenty, and im not enough of a techno geek to be able to fix it, but ive heard from manny sources that overheating the xbox with towls can make it work again. im tyring it now because its better than paying 105 bucks to get it fixed, and i cant break it anymore. ;_;
The towel trick's only a temporary solution, but it does fix the RROD for a week or so.
If I opened the system up, would microsoft see that the seal was broken, and not fix my system?
In short, can i void my warranty further by opening my xbox up?
