You can only put 2.5 inch hdd in a ps3 so your computer hdd won't work as it's 3.5 inches. Backwards compatibility can be downloaded in the playstation store

What are you using to view the store, a computer or a ps3. You cant download it unless you look on the store with a ps3. Go to view all, select the group containing all titles that start with p and look for ps2 system data
