Except in the few instances where for whatever reason I've got to type with one hand and I need to capitalize a letter closer to the right side. Then it's for pragmatists, not queers.
If I'm capitalizing a letter which I am typing with any of the fingers on my left hand excluding the letters R, T, G, and B, I use the right shift. Everything else gets the left shift.
Wait, you mean there are people who don't use both? How terribly inefficient.

I only use the right one, unless I'm using one hand and the key is close to the left shift. My right shift is kind of grubby looking and my left looks brand new.

I've been trying to type with only one shift key and it sucks pretty hardcore. Why you guys do it is beyond me.
I use both but i used to only use the left shift because i almost always accidently pressed the enter key when i used the right
