It can easily be considered an RPG. After all, it has tons of RPG elements, it's just not your typical turn-based affair most people consider an RPG.

I was just saying that Zelda wasn't listed as a OFFICALLY rpg status quoe. As for Kingdom hearts although progress in the RPG standards, It IS OFFICALLY acknowledged as a RPG(though The new combat system does take a action/adventure turn).
I guess I CAN see why zelda is considered a RPG (especially the Game Boy titles), so I'll just give in and say "To each there own" and let it fall the way it lands. Meaning Zelda can be a RPG just as much DOA:BV can be considered a sports game.:)

Well, I would ask what u consider an RPG, but, I think would be easier to ask what isn't an RPG.
Zelda is borderline, but, Need for Speed, Metroid? Give me a break, It's hard to decide what makes or doesn't make an RPG, granted u play the role of a character in every game but, there has to be boundaries. Keep the Racing and Adventure games in the Racing and adventure categories.
