You must've known that I knew that, which was why I was asking. Therefore, there was no need to tell me to shut up because clearly I was going somewhere with it.
Saying Jesus could be blasphemy, as could saying Eloheim, or even Adonai. But the "G*d" of the Christian religion isn't named "G*d", so even if I say "Oh my G*d", I may not be talking about the Christian G*d. In fact, I'm probably not because I said "my G*d", which probably isn't the Christian if I'm taking the name in vain because no good Christian would take the name in vain.
So uncensor the word already, Jesse. "God" is not His name, so no matter how I use it, I'm not taking his name in vain.
