It's like looking into the window of the life of a depressed, lonely, and mildly psychopathic Jon. I saw this a few days ago on the SA forums and got a good laugh out of it.
Old'd but good'd. They work this way because technically, Jon can't hear Garfield in the comics, even though growing up I always thought he could.

I never saw a show of Garfield. I only read the comics. But yeah I'm pretty sure Jon could hear Garfield. His facial expression would often change to what Garfield said.

I saw the links to these sites on another blog, but I just can't remember where. There was also a Garfield dedication site where one guy re-enacted the strips. He'd even go so far as to dress up in a man-size Garfield costume. Scary...:(

I got a good laugh out of quite a few. You get a run going, and Jon seems to just get more and more depressed... and that's funny. Most of the comics seem to be him thinly veiling the fact that he's about to kill himself.
