VGC BANNER MAKING TIME

Yup, it's been awhile. Here's the deal, for those who don't know. Every once in awhile, we have a banner making contest here, and the winners are the banners you see that refresh on VGC every time you click a page. I think it's time for a new one. Certain current banners may be removed, although it's likely the majority will stay. People will have a certain amount of time to submit entries, and we'll vote on which ones should be finalists, and then those ones will be voted on again to see which ones make the cut.

In all honesty, this may not even happen according to the concensus of other members. I really just made this spur of the moment without asking anybody. :) So, if any mods/members oppose, just say so here. I just want some more stuff worth looking at here. Even if nothing comes out of this, I'll make a few just for the heck of it. >_>

CRITERIA

Banners must be the same size as the current ones at the top of the site. To get the dimensions, just right click it, and you'll see its dimensions. Not all of them are exactly the same, but it doesn't really matter, as long as it's close enough to not notice a difference. The one I'm looking at now is 260 x 110.

Must have VGC and/or Video Game Chat on it

Try sticking to one game or motif. Cluttered banners typically don't make it.

There's not really an answer as to how many will be put up, pretty much whatever we feel like. I'd have no problem with bigger sized banners making it in because Cats' is epic win, but I'm positive Jesse, for reasons unknown, will refuse different sized ones. :cookie:

Yeah, they're pretty essential to VGC. It's what we run on.

Also, I just remembered the discussion that came up last time about Link's supposedly enormous and wrinkly penis in one of the current banners.

I was making a Midna one, and then scrapped it because I decided it really sucked. :cool:

Maybe I just need to remember how to do more junk on Photoshop. :X I do like my Samus/Sora VGC banners, and that was when I actually photoshopped a lot. :cookie:
