Early this month I plan on working on making a clan/RPG game, and I would love to get ideas for it. It would be a video game theme clan/RPG game, and hopefully include some non-Nintendo stuff, think Playstation, XBox.... :eek:
Before you post ideas, [url=http://2452TheGame.com/register.php?REF=3964]register here[/url] and look around to get an idea of what type of game it is. This is some one elses game that I play that uses the script.
If you got ideas for Town names, item/weapon/armor/magic names, Education Courses, Job names, property names/Bots (Enemies)...post away. It's a $300 script, hince I'm asking for ideas, so it's made much better than the RPG Inferno game. aka...er...Rio Linda, Mollys Nipple?? Those are no video game names!!!
This could also be one way to get some more posters here. If you register at that game, you'll notice a lot of links to voting on Top Web Games sites for game rewards. Geting on those lists can generate more players, and posters here, as a forum section here for the game would be made.

But maybe I'll participate on this.
I haven't looked into it much yet, and am still in the process of registering but, would it be possible to somehow incorperate peoples posts into the game itself?
ex: higher post count = higher level
higher level = more to do.
it sort of brings back elements of the old vgc back when we had EXP, HP, and MP bars (kind of miss those)
anyway I think if it could somehow be done it would be beneficial to attracting people to the site. if that is your goal.
EDIT: I checked out the game, don't like the fact that every thing costs like $1,000,000 or more. couldn't it just be $10 or something?

One other plus to this is it would help me learn a little bit of php programming, since there are ideas I got that I've never seen on the other sites that use the script. Editing existing scripts is an easy way to learn how to program php. So far the only scripts I've made mods to is vBulletin (Way back in version 2!!), and Dragon Knight (Random stats gains.)

For Final Fantasy, one could be Junon or Jeuno. Another could be Aht Urghan, or Tu'lia. Maybe Balamb Gardens, or Alexandria.

The only ideas I can think of needing right now are property names. For example, Bowsers Castle. A Pokemon name would be perfect for one of them, as the property is used to train your stats, agility, guard, labor, and strength.

I think I'll name a town Viridian City, one that has a Special Gym, one where you have a new method for training. Where new players can't get to it, but once you get to a certian level you can do it. For example, Level 50 will have a higher interest bank rate, and Level 100 might have that Special Gym. (Special as in normally you use energy or orbs to train. With this gym you can spend money to train.)

That's what made me stop working on mods and start on the actual game!!! Now there's mainly two things I could use a lot more of, more Property names, and ideas for 'Crimes' (That name will probably be changed.)
For property names, I got

Prince Zeldas Castle
and could use 10-15 more.
'Crime' is where you do something, and can get a reward for doing it. Here's an example...
Crime name: Rescue Princess Zelda
What you do: You walk in to the layer where Ganon is hiding Prince Zelda.
Success message: You drop 100 bombs on Ganon and rescue Prince Zelda.
Failure message: You tried to drush him with only half your life. Instead he crushed you.
I could use 15-20 more of those. I think calling them 'Missions' might be a better name. You would do these a LOT, of course along with attacking players, and other methods for geting gold, items, experience!!
Of course I don't want all the property and Missions based on Nintendo games!!! So the more non-Nintendo stuff you can think of, the better!!!
Oh yah, and I could use about 20 or more boss names!!!! These would be players that you attack for money. (aka...Bowser, Medusa, Ganon, Mother Brain...) As you can tell, I can use a bunch of non-Nintendo names!!!!

The games finally completed! For the next month or so before summer starts, I'll play the game myself and tweak things. The last thing we want is the game being too easy, aka...what happened to RPG Inferno!!! Inflation is the biggest enemy in this type of game, as you saw if you registered at the example site linked to in the first post of da thread!! By default, you can have up to $9,223,372,036,854,775,807!!!!!!!!!! :eek: You want the game to last a few years before any one gets there (The banks spit out bank interest each day, like in RPG Inferno.)
On the Crimes, I'll change the name to Challenges. Attacking bosses/enemies for money and items. So far I got ones for Koopa Troopa, Four-Headed Gleeok, Garland, Mana Beast, Xemnas, Bowser, Wart, Darth Traya/Kreia, Deathevn, Ridley, Mother Brain, Ganondorf, Brock, Spartan, Yiazmat, Lavos, and King Dedede. (Yes, I got non-Nintendo bosses in this!! :eek:)
