Sega Dreamcast 2 on the way? These guys seem to think so, and heres status info on the trademark..

I don't think so. SEGA is making enough profit since they left the hardware business that I believe they'll stick strictly with software. It works too well for them. Besides, a four-way battle for hardware domination? I don't think I (or my bank account) could handle that.
Unless this new Dreamcast is SUPER AMAZING I don't see how they'd get third-party support.
so yeah no
doubt it. Sonic is in Brawl and they have many other games planned for the wii. i would like a new sega system but its not gonna happen!
lol
With an 800 million dollar revenue? No, lol
I'd buy that ****.
Sounds to me like they just don't want other people calling their floor mats, flash drives, etc. "Dreamcast."

[quote]...flash memory cards and floor mats were never a part of the company's machine. Could Sega be quietly getting ready to re-enter the console business?
As much as I wish this rumor were true, I don't believe it. More likely the company is updating the original trademark to cover additional items in order to make sure some enterprising company doesn't come out with a Dreamcast brand memory card or dance pad. Either that, or Sega is planning on getting into the peripheral market themselves..
Miss much?
I wouldn't buy a DC 2 with the way SEGA is now. They've produced nothing but crap for a while now.
