Don't you hate it when you see a cat walking down the street, and it's all dirty and mangy and missing one eye and it's tail is broken, and it comes up to you and wants to be pet? I'm always afraid to touch it, with its fur all matted and stuck together like it rolled around in a vat of tree sap.:(
That just makes me more sad than anything. I tended to avoid them just for fear of picking up something that i could have transmitted to my kitty back home though.

I know. But from what I've seen they live a better, happier life with another cat to play with. Mine are always together and always playing, so it seems to be better for them. Not saying you can't have one cat, just that two are better than one for the cats. In my opinion.

Yeah, I'd like to have two, but I'm taking into consideration health costs, plus I'd like to move out of the country after I'm done school, and taking one cat would be costly enough. Plus my allergies act up the more cats there are.
