So, I have a plan to compile the best vidya music of 2007 into an album, then zip it and upload it. Here's my list so far:
BioShock - Main theme (listen)
Super Mario Galaxy - Good Egg Galaxy (listen)
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 - Vortal Combat (listen)
Guitar Hero 3 - The Devil Went Down To Georgia (listen)

You've hit it splendidly. I can help you rip the audio, if you want.
Guitar Hero music doesn't really count does it?
Gusty Garden was better than Good Egg IMO Listen
I thought the Metroid Prime 3: Corruption title music was especially good. Listen
The Dark Samus battle was cool too. Listen
SMG-Bowser Reactor
MP3:C Rundas Battle Listen
MP3:C Gandrayda Battle Listen
Can't believe I missed those two out.

The version of the Devil Went Down To Georgia in GH3 is considerably different from the original. It's almost double the length, for starters. It was either that or Tom Morello's guitar battle music, which is pretty hot.
Man I just remembered what Vortal Combat was, they brought that song in insanely well.
I'm sure you have at one point or another.
The music in Mario Galaxy in general was superb, the whole way it was orchestrated and cleverly makes use of classic themes as well.
You might just say Good Egg Galaxy, cause its easiest to remember being the first level and all.
Its definitely the one that remains in my mind, you first arrive there, and there is this beautiful, epic sounding music.
