My boss has asked me to find stuff on eBay that we can take over the competition. We're a video supply store, meaning we sell a lot of things involving metal racks for movies and such, all things relating to movies including snacks, and various other things. Here's our website:
http://www.shopperinc.com/
Now, the favor I ask of you is, please help me think of items that we could sell. Here's an example:
On eBay, there's two particular areas we're best in: Scrapbooking and Shopping Baskets. Lots of ladies do that scrap book crap, and we have tons of racks that could double as scrap book racks, and other things we sell for them. The case with shopping carts is that there were very few people selling them but they were being bought all the time, and as such, we sold them for less and completely wiped out the competition.
So any ideas of categories or items would be great. Please be serious about this, as it'll help me a lot.
Yes, this is a lame way of getting help, but I'd be very grateful.
Video game racks? Honestly, I've never really seen a solid attempt at real holders for video games that actually look half-way decent.
No, like actual racks made of metal, like this:
We also sell a variety of other things than fixtures, which is why I included a link to the site. Still, I'm looking for ideas on categories we could sell items in, which is why I'm asking for help from a large community of functioning brains to help me think.
Mmmm, comic books/graphic novels?
If I'm totally whiffing here, sorry.
It'd make more sense to me if you guys just sold racks and **** for everything: bookstores, grocery, videos, various other retailers, etc etc.
Well that's the thing. Racks can be used for anything if you're imaginative enough.
It's the market of the successful businessman.
But you don't seem to realize that I'm not asking for advice that I should tell the owner of the company on what to sell, I'm asking for categories of products that we might do well pitching our items on eBay.
porn
lol I know. I just thought it was weird you specialised in mainly video stuff.
Our division is called "The Video Store Shopper."
more like "The Box Factory Shopper"
and PORN
I'll get on it. Thanks for helping.
Hey, anytime, pal.
I'm going to have to agree with Ant, here.
Bondage rocks.
Seriously, I haven't seen racks like those since before 'A Land Before Time' hit shelves.. Everyone here is into wood, man. Wood..
