I'm sure Nintendo knew that date was going to be faux before they even announced it; to think two major games being launched seemingly back-to-back from each other is pretty ridiculous.
Personally, I think the Galaxy-Brawl gap is perfect right now. The wait and anticipation is going to drive me nuts, but a good nut!

I've felt that almost everyday for the past 4 days. so I'm not sure what to think anymore :(
I always go there not expecting too much, so as not to set myself up for disappointment. It makes the worthwhile updates all the more sweet, too!
I do the same, but then the 5 seconds before I see the update I suddenly go "OH MAN WHAT IF IT'S RIDLEY OR MARINA OR SOMETHING!?" :(
Yeah, that little bit of lag that happens when I click on the link to the site is a bitch sometimes, because it gives me an extra 5-10 seconds to scrap the "accept mediocrity" attitude in favor of hoping for something good. I must say, though, I've gotten quite good at suppressing that feeling.
I've just accepted the fact that they've already showed us all the cool stuff that's in the game. There's nothing else important.
