how do I got the multiplayer to work?
It was confusing for me, too, since it doesn't say how in the instruction booklet.
1) Plug in the controllers that you'll need for the extra players.
2) Press Y to open the menu screen. Go to Tech, and select the second character slot.
3) Change the battle mode for that character to either Semi-Auto or Manual. This will allow the second player to play as the second party member.
4) Do this with the rest of the characters for more players.
It's a bit hard to explain, but I hope this clears things up a bit.
