Yeah, it's pretty much a sure thing that we'll see him again. In fact, I wonder if they're going to do a neat little video for him like Sonic's, just as a "okay, here he finally is, lovable old Luigi" kind of thing.
Well, there was that interview where they stated they were working on Shiek/Ganondorf's character models. I doubt they would just show up as assists.

Luigi is a wave-dashing *** in melee though. the only character that wave dashing makes really good. if your good with Luigi you wave dash.
Yeah, he's basically the only character I try and do it with. Unfortunately, that means I'm none too practiced at wavedashing, so it's not too effective in my case.
The only thing that Luigi was sweet for was that he was ubber light and easy to use other wise he was just mario in a different suit
