I don't know about you guys, but I've always loved the tunes from the Sonic the Hedgehog games. Some of the newer soundtracks from games like Sonic Heroes and such aren't as good as the older Genesis ones (in my opinion), but I still enjoy some of the newer music. But really; as far as I'm concerned, some of the best Sonic the Hedgehog tunes were from the first four Sonic games. Huge standouts for me include: Labyrinth Zone & Starlight Zone (Sonic 1), the Casino Night Zone multiplayer version song (Sonic 2), Marble Garden Zone, Ice Cap Zone, and Launch Base Zone (Sonic 3), and Lava Reef Zone, Sky Sanctuary Zone, and Death Egg Zone (Sonic & Knuckles). In my opinion, those are all excellent, extremely nostalgic songs from the earlier games.
However, I do also like some of the tunes from Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, and the first two Sonic Advance games. I don't exactly remember all the names, but I especially remember that I really like a lot of the Chao-themed songs from SA2B for some reason. :P I dunno, they just appeal to me... the Chao Karate song is a personal favorite of mine. Oh, and don't forget some of the songs from Sonic Adventure DX, like Mystic Ruin Zone. Yeah.

I like the newer version of themes as opposed to the previous generations'. Some songs from Sonic Adventure 2: Battle are pretty cool. The Pumpkin Hill theme is awesome in my opinion, and some of the others too. Come to think of it, the Knuckles levels have the best tunes. A couple of the Sonic levels also have good ones, but just not as catchy. Sonic Advance 2 had some cool songs at the time, but none that I can remember. The newer songs just seem to be more enjoyable I suppose; although, all the Green Hill Zone acts and Marble Zone acts had cool themes, too.
Anything from the Sonic the Hedgehog 1, or Sonic CD proves to be quite nostalgic to me. I also realy like final battle song on Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
The Sonic Adventure games had awesome music. There's no doubt about it. "Open Your Heart" was definately one of my favorites.
I like how Sonic's theme song in SA1 was re-iterated into SA2. They have (if not exact) the same lyrics in there, but in different tones to the same meaning.
Knuckle's music with the rap/hip-hop thing is nice. Kinda shows people the "tough guy" he really is.
In Sonic Heroes... well, it definately could have been a lot better. Some of the music annoyed me as I played through the levels (but not to say there wasn't any good tunes).
Sonic Heroes was the first game soundtrack I liked enough to buy a copy of. My favorite songs from SH are Bullet Station, Frog Forest, Mystic Mansion, Final Fortress, and the vocal theme songs (except for Team Sonic's... it's a little too cheesy.)

Everything, and I mean everything, from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. There are some I like more than others, such as the Hilltop Zone, Metropolis Zone, the Flying Fortress Zone and Bonus Game music, but there was not a single mediocre song in that game.
Shadows theme music from SA2B... and the original Casino music... I dont know why many people didnt like it..
As long as it's not Amy's theme song or "Follow mein my Dreams", I like most Sonic songs.
I loved most all the music, and I love the Techno remixes from vgmusic.

My fav sonic tune is "we got love" from Sonic Adventure 2 battle. I can remember the first time i beat that, i nearly cried when shadow died, but he didnt die NNNOOO! he is back in the new sonic game!!!!!!!

I'm not willing to write it again, so I'll say this: it was a handful of songs from SA1, 2 and Heroes. To sum up the importance of my post, Open your Heart, Live and Learn, and What I'm Made of are the three best sonic songs of all time, each of which were beautifully performed by Crush 40, my favorite band. Your right fig roll, the first level in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle sounds really good. I like the music from the bosses too and the last boss from Sonic Heroes (Metal Sonic) has got an good music too, because man the first time I heard this music I knew that this boss was a tough one.

That's it really. The main one's I loved was Live and Learn, because I could play it on guitar, and Open your Heart for the lyrics.
I was a tad dissapointed by the Shadow the Hedgehog Main theme, but it was still ok.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. i played the GCN version so i include battle in the title, i absolutely loved that soundtrack and i had a chance to buy it in gamestop one time when i noticed it sitting there but it was like 18 bucks or something which is way way to much money for music.

I liked the Sonic Heroes Ocean Palace and Seaside Hill. Other than that, there's Green Hill and Emerald Hill zones for Sonic 1 and 2, Sonic 3D Blasts Green Grove 1 and 2 and Diamond Dust Act 1 and 2 (Composed by Rich Jacques). The Sonic CD ones were good too, like Palmtree panic present and good future. There's a Europe/Japan version and an American version, I liked both of them.
I tend to like the green/tropical stage songs, as I've noticed.
