im in need of a program that is free and converts .YMP files to .mp3
what would be good for this?
I hear simply burning these files to disk will convert the files to .wav, at the very least. It may not be possible to find a converter that directly does .ymp to .mp3, but there are plenty of free .wav to .mp3 converters available. Windows Media Player, depending on its version, should have an option to burn the files to CD.
Otherwise, a few Google searches for a converter from file format A to file format B will give you a few results that might help you.
