Well, you'd have to have a liking for the story. Do you have any history with games like Tales of Symphonia/Abyss, Fire Emblem, or the Baten games?
I've played a bit of ToS, wasn't impressed but I don't think I gave it enough of a chance. Same with Baten Kaitos.
It's so much about the story. Demos or bits won't do it justice. I would look at it or play a part and think "junk," but once you play it from the start and get into the story, that's what really brings you in. I have trouble stopping because I want to see what happens next. That's what I love about RPG games. Very story-driven.
Well yeah, that's the point of RPGs. But if they don't suck me in right away other games distract me.
Enchant ****ing sucks. Sonata is all right, but not as great as Dex is making it out to be.
