You should totally check out Half-Life 2. An amazing game, for sure. The pacing is perfect, and there aren't points where you feel 'aaah this **** is boring'. Worth it just to try the Gravity Gun. **** yeah, skate was awesome. I've got 980/1000G in it, and none of it felt like a chore.
Anyway, since this is the Orange Box thread - I finished Portal. Great game, but so freaking short. I got through the whole game while half-dunk in one sitting. The advanced chambers should have been part of the main storyline. They're what I was expecting in the main story.
Also about to start HL2:E2.
Team Fortress needs WAY more levels, it's fun as hell but everybody goes on 2forts and it gets repetitive because everybody goes Engineer and only spies can get close to the intel.
Playing Half-Life 2 because I never got round to finishing it, Not doing the episodes until I've completed that. Completed Portal, and have done 4 of the advanced levels.

TF2 on the PC has a CP map based on Lazytown already. It's pretty kickass. If everyone goes Engineer, by the way, just choose Demoman. They **** up sentries every time. AND THEY'RE SCOTTISH YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAH

I was never a fan of grenadiers, to be honest. Not my thing. I love it when there's a spy in my base and I'm all "huh cool there's another guy called Elite Hac- OH MY ****ING *** ITS A SPY BANG BANG phew". Lovely.
I always get caught as the spy. Although one time, I was disguised as a Soldier, and the rest of the team seemed to be encouraging me to lead an assault on my own base.

Played a bit of Team Fortress 2: wasn't terribly impressed and probably won't play it again. Played a bit of HL2: more impressed but didn't get a chance to play much of it. Played a bit of Portal and really enjoyed it. Probably won't buy it, though. I'll have to rent it a couple more times to finish everything up (free rentals ftw).
