... HAS VANISHED
Disappeared from my devices list and network connections panel. The little switch on the bottom of my lappy that allows me to turn it off and on is in the on position, but the 'disabled' light is still on. I have no idea what caused it - it was fine three hours ago, but now I come back home and it's acting as if the card doesn't exist.
Reinstall the driver. But knowing you, you already tried that.
Make sure the card isn't disabled in the Device Manager list. If it isn't, uninstall the device entirely, reboot and allow windows to automatically reconfigure the hardware. Seeing as it should already have the drivers, it'll take care of that also.
