It's about time. The article says it's got the feedback strength of the PS2 controller.

Good news, though I recall someone important saying this wasn't possible with the Sixaxis.

GameSpot posted an article with their impressions of the new controller [url="http://www.gamespot.com/news/6179170.html"]here[/url]. Obviously, it is heavier than the Sixaxis, although I personally didn't have a problem with the light controller at all.

Either way, this is excellent news. I pretty much found out today that, yeah, we're supporting the rumble feature with our first release (BlackSite: Area 51). They have a list of all rumble-supported games on the link above, too, including existing games that can be updated with the new feature through a PlayStation Store update.

I don't see what the big deal is about rumble. I always turn my rumble off for games, especially shooters.

Whenever rumble is off I play like **** because that extra bit of sensory is missing. It's like playing a shooter with the sound muted for me.

Yeah i play terrible without the rumble. I wonder if this will increase production costs?
