The Haunted - 99
There's a part late in the song where the instruments drop and and then pick back up with a scream that has no vocal gymnastics at all. It's just pure lung-destroying power that's held for far longer than I could, but it's got a certain raw feeling that you don't get in a lot of metal. It's worth a listen!

I'm listening to Malvery right now, and while the vocals definitely aren't pleasant by most people's standards, I think they're amazing. Amer was definitely insane during the recording of this album. His screams are tormented and often incoherent, and there's a lot of whimpering and mumbling in between screaming. He obviously was not well, because he commit suicide shortly after the recording of this album.

Sounds interesting, where'd you download it from?

I got it on Soulseek. It should be on the most recent page of the upload thread now, courtesy of yours truly.
