Even though George Romero was not involved this time, I decided to buy this on eBay, even with all the negative hostility it was getting from fans online. Now I see WHY everybody hated it.
Creepshow III or 3 does not really pay tribute to the EC comics the way 1 and 2 did so brilliantly. Instead, it opts to make a total mockery of not only Romero's career, but the whole horror genre as a whole (and that is hard to do).
The stories were Alice, The Radio, Call Girl, Professor Dayton's Wife and The Haunted Dog. No scariness, good acting, special effects or gore. The blood was minimum and ameturish.
I sincerely hope the 2008 remake does the franchise some justice!!
I didn't even know they made a Creepshow III! Now i'm glad I never saw it.
