I got over 900G on this game but I'm still not an Elite rank, so I'll definitely be playing this with you. Plus, until CoD4 comes out, Rainbow and CoD2 are the funnest games to play online. Count me in.

I've got two red bars on the Major rank. I think I have to go through two more ranks after this until I hit Elite. I'm hoping to grab it before Halo 3 is released, although Metroid 3 is now in my possession, so who knows how I'm going to fit it all in.

you can do it. I got all my bars for my elite filled up pretty quick too. You can easily do it all in a month if you win a lot, play some T-Hunt and just keep playing.

The only thing I see getting in my way is other games taking up my time. Blue Dragon, Metroid 3, etc. If Vegas was my only game, I know I'd have it.

Yeah, his wife told him a few months ago that he had to ditch his gaming **** or ditch her. Apparently he's turned down a promotion at his job because he prefers to kick back with games than work, and this made his waifu MAAAAD. He offered me some 360 games a month or two back, but I held out and now he's offering them for even less.

Anyway, watching a gameplay vid and reading up on Wikipedia, this definitely sounds like a game I'm interested in. Between this and my new arcade games, should be enough to satiate me until H3 and SPM.

What, Condemned? I originally blasted through the story pretty quick and later rerented it but never finished it. It could probably absorb a week or so, so yeah, it should be enough for now. Plus, I have a feeling you'll likely want to get Condemned 2 and it sound like you really need to play the first to get the second.

Viva Pinata will be investigated post-Halo 3. I need some filler between it and skate. or even COD4.

There's no official end date, nothing announced. But Gamespot is giving away tokens until the 30th of September I believe... so it's going to be going on for awhile.

Eh, it's alright. It seems to follow the same formula every level, though:

- FUMBLE SLOWLY IN DARK
- FIND WEAPON FOR OPENING DOOR
- TAKE PICTURE
- SWING PIPE AT DRUG ADDICTS

COD4's rank system works well. You usually only have to play a single match to move up, and the bonus for being the match winner is always welcome.

It seems like it takes a good two hours to get one red bar. :(

How many Gs do you get for reaching Elite?

I'm not sure. I think 50. I already have over 900 in the game. It's more of a goal to make me feel prepared for Halo 3 and CoD4.

I'm still deciding whether I'm going to play Halo 3 on Legendary or Heroic. I imagine if I play on Legendary, I'll end up getting stuck at some section and the overall experience of the game will kinda be ruined, but I'll be missing out on about 125G. HMMMMM

Go through it twice. Once when you first get it on an easier difficulty and then again later when it will be kinda fun again on the hardest difficulty. Single player should be fairly short anyway.

Ten bucks says you'll be going through the single-player a lot more than twice. I'm probably doing heroic on my own and legendary for co-op.

And I'm pretty sure Elite is 40 points...

It's not R6:___ anymore. They announced Vegas' sequel at TGS, but it largely takes place in Iran after an attack on Washington right before a major bill was passed. Apparently info was taken from your partner in the chopper and that's what starts it all.

I got like six DREs a day when I first got my 360, but the last one I had was a result of a programming glitch in Bioshock over a month ago.

R6 has a problem with DREs and freezing. ****ty disc. Just clean it with a soft cloth before you put it in the tray.

I get bored of Halo. It's not like CoD or R6 where I can play forever. I dunno, it's still good though.

Rumble Pit with a friend is pretty **** fun. But yeah, sucks compared to CoD or Rainbow.

Yeah, Rumble Pit's pretty good. Playing with rocket launchers only is pretty fun, too. Doubles with a friend is probably the most fun I get out of it.

I suck balls at Rockets and Shotty Snipes. Swords is another story. Most annoying **** ever was when I got an Overkill with the Energy Sword... but on Rumble Pit.

Halo snipers suck. Infection is usually fun. Man, I still have to go through the campaign.

I like the Halo snipers. It's pretty satisfying to get a headshot. In COD2, you can hit them pretty much anywhere and they go down.

I still need a gold skull, a silver skull, all the terminals, killing frenzy on lone wolves and the metagame achievements.

Halo 2's sniper fired pretty fast, it felt kinda close to a semi-automatic rifle. Once you had someone in your sights, you could pretty go CHUGGA CHUGGA CHUGGA CHUGGA and get a kill. Now, you have to be at least partially careful.

Yeah, R6 snipers blow. CoD was so easy and cheap to use. Scoped Kar98k ftw.
