Just checked the release schedule. Bioshock, Halo 3, COD4, skate, and Assassin's Creed are released almost with perfect timing over here. AWESOME

I played through every Tony Hawk's with all the beneficial cheats on.
... In retrospect it drained a lot of the fun out of the games.
Skate blows. Camera angle is agitating, and doing everything with the right analog is crap. Maybe it's just I'm so used to Tony Hawk's controls, but I just could not get the hang of this, even after a good 20 minutes of trying. Besides, ultra realistic skating game? Please. For me the only thing that makes any sports game fun is doing stuff you couldn't do in real life.
Gawd, I'm still waiting for the demo to finish downloading.

So, it's out in the US and getting pretty good reviews. Anyone picked it up yet? I just checked out the Tony Hawk's Proving Ground demo this morning, and the controls simply didn't feel right having played the Skate demo. Very queer.
