as of now i have a fan on the back of my xbox, then when i realized the fan itself got hot i put a little blue clip on fan angled at the fan on my xbox to help keep the xboxs' fan cool. is that bad? is their anything i can do to help to not get it. i know its impossible to 100% for sure prevent it. but is their anything that i could do (short of never playing my xbox) that would help a little? thanks

Keep it ventilated, keep it off the carpet, and if you do get it, run it wrapped in three towel for thirty minutes. Should give you another three days. Those are your best bets.
