So Nintendo created a new update for all Wii Consoles, and it's about time if you ask me. It has some good features but I wish it had others.
Features:
Time display-alows you to see time from the Wii menu
Wii Shopping channel- Has more features, like game videos, and most popular download
Wii News- Samples of local news can be seen from the Wii Menu.
Wii Weather- Daily weather forcasts can be seen from the main menu
Wii Mail- Diffrent coloured mail, and the calander only show when you've recieved important mail. (Photo, Update, or something from Nintendo)
Things this update SHOULD have:
Time display- Should be able to check time when you press the home button
Wii Shopping- You have to go to the internet channel to see game videos
Wii News- N/A
Wii Weather- Could be at least a little diffrent
Wii mail: N/A

I punched my Wii today. The little fucker didn't download it overnight with WiiConnect24.
Not really a big deal for me, but that could be because I've owned my Wii for two days. It's cool, anyway. I would really love some Wii Points. :(
The light turns on when you eject/insert discs now, too. But overall, very little of interest. No Check Mii Out, no dice.
I want more Mii stuff. :(

Yes, this means you can plug in any type of USB cabled keyboard :)

Uh, question: For all you who got your Wii during the first 6th months, interbuttz channel was free, right? Did it remain free for the rest of the time? Because it's $5 for me. :(

Also when you recieve mail from a friend or from Nintendo, the little letter logo in the bottom right corner of the Wii Menu pulses and pings as if someone was hitting a triangle bell very lighty.

another update. this time regarding the lan something or another. I think the internet channel is a bit faster now.
