What does everyone think about the recently announced game by iD Software, Rage? A 50% FPS, 50% racing game. I think it's a great idea and it will be tons of fun! What is everyone else opinions?

Eh, looks like a generic FPS mixed with a generic motocross game.
Id rather buy a pure fps game and a pure racing game. Mixing them isnt good.
as i always say this game will be good, unless it sucks.
Eh. Carmack's a programmer and engine designer, not a game designer. Not really bothere'd about playing it, I'd like to look at it though.
Environments remind me of Stranger's Wrath.
The costume design looks like Phantom Dust.
Doesn't look too bad. I need to see gameplay shots though.
