Which is a better buy.... Dungeon Seige 2 or Tomb Raider: Legend?
I am a fan of both series, and am looking for a new game for my laptop. It has the requirements for both (though, if I even save a word document after installing them, it will crash) and I'm not sure, because they both look so darn good....
I have Dungeon Seige 2 and I didn't enjoy it at all. Same type of game as WoW.
I would go for Tomb Raider: Legend just because I never played a TR game before.

I'm not a fan of the Tomb Raider series, and haven't really played Dungeon Siege. But I think you should go with Baldur's Gate. No disappointments there!
