Yeah, it should be good.
I hope not =/ No more avant-garde please.
I hope it's not black. :(
I don't think there's any way that they'd revert back to black metal. It would be interesting, but I doubt it will actually happen.
Yeah, no chance in hell. That chapter is long closed, and they really only released one real black metal release. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a more "groove" oriented dark ambient release or something akin to that. Maybe a mix between dark ambient and Blood Inside?
That would be incredible, especially if it had creepy multi-layered vocals. I love when he does that.
Please be trip-hop.
Whatever it is, i'm sure it'll be excellent. Garm is yet to fail *slurp slurp slurp*, and I don't expect him to anytime soon.

Ah, I like that cover, and some of the track titles are interesting.
Can't wait till it gets lea...released!
hopefully it'll have at least SOME guitar, even if it isn't a direct continuation of the Blood Inside sound.
I like the track titles and I like the album cover. So far so good.
[quote=Wikipedia]In an interview with Music Information Centre Norway, Ulver member Tore Ylwizaker commented on the forthcoming album. He said it would be downplayed and inspired by chamber music in both style and crew. Ylwizaker also took a year off to study classical composers and composition techniques, while claiming to take a particular liking to Igor Stravinsky's The Firebird. The album comprises of Kristoffer Rygg's vocals, calm electronics and natural percussion, while artists like Pamelia Kurstin contribute with instruments like the theremin. Furthermore, Christian Fennesz, an Austrian white noise musician, has added touches of his associate, the English singer, musician and composer David Sylvian's soft style, helping Ulver to correspond with their vision on the final product.

Sounds cool to me. I'm sure there will be some kind of interesting twist to this album.
Yup, pretty safe to say it'll completely kick ***.
Sounds like it'll be somewhere between darkwave, downtempo and trip-hop. Exciting.

New song, "Vigil", has been released. It's like Perdition City mashed up with Teachings In Silence.
IT'S AMAZING. IT'S ABSOLUTELY BLOODY FANTASTIC.
AWW CRAP,I just came.
Good stuff.
They definitely described it pretty accurately. Very nice.
Huh, I'm loving this.
There's a special prerelease party in New York on the 20th of September. I have a friend (lucky bastard) who's attending; he'll upload a rip afterwards.
Haha, we'll have the first leak?
I am totally stroking off in anticipation.
I'm liking the new song.
Thanks to a certain somebody ;)
VGC: THE ONE AND ONLY SOURCE FOR ALL YOUR MUSIC NEEDS
It's awesome because it's true.
Seems that way sometimes.
So we were first for Alcest, first for that Ayreon demo and first for Ulver...
We're so awesome.
this would be a good time to have that awesome emoticon
"Solitude" on this album is listed as a Black Sabbath cover in MA. Weird.
Vinyl art. I want this on a shirt.
Also, "Funebre" (previously incorrectly announced by The End as Funebrae) has replaced "Vigil" on Ulver's Myspace page.
"Solitude" is apparently a Black Sabbath cover.
Oh christ. Just listened to the new song.
So ***ly :_:
Good music for me to sleep.

Ew WMA. I'll just be patient until an mp3 leak comes out.
better than nothing, and luckily itunes converts it pretty quickly.
My iTunes doesn't even recognize it, let alone convert it.
Either update it or go to your settings. Anything my itunes doesn't recognize gets converted to MP3.
Apparently that's a really low quality rip from what I read. I'll wait for a good one.
I'll have one in three days.
I've heard nothing but *****ing about it.
Either way, lol ew wma
I guess black metal has ruined my ears :(
Looks like this'll be a loooooooooooooong night. There's probably an Mp3 leak out there already...just a matter of finding one.
A 320kbs leak surfaced about ten hours ago, apparently. Someone find it and upload it for me!
Didn't find yet, but at least I found the Xasthur/Cryostasium split.
Edit: Nevermind, found the Ulver Mp3 rip also.
Those had better both be uploaded by the time I navigate from here to my blog.
Well this is ****ing amazing.
I wasn't that impressed. Above Blood Inside, below Perdition.
I like it the most out of the ones I have. Pretty good.
It's really relaxing, but it could have been a little better.
I think I like Blood Inside better. Gotta give it a few more listens.
wtf, they won't accept my card. :(
/me cancels order, weeps
I was pretty bored with it. Expected a lot more.
I'm satisfied enough with it. I mean it's good, but they really could have done a lot more with it. Honestly, I was expecting something comparable to earlier Dead Can Dance without the World Music element and more of a dark ambiance.
I enjoy alot of the tracks off of this album.
Surpassed my expectations.
