k, so my friend's got himself a brand new Acer laptop. It's an Acer Aspire 3680, and whenever he shuts the laptop, his internet connection shuts down. Why? And does anyone know how to fix it.
It's because there's a setting that you can change so that when you shut the lid of your laptop, it goes into standby mode, thus disconnecting the internet. Go to Control Panel and I think it's in Power options that you can change this setting.
