This is Pretty Random but in Mario 64 i never found out could you get Luigi?

Posted by Animec

I heard you could get Luigi by beating the one coin slide in 30 secounds. I just started to think about it for no reason and does anyoone know if you could control bowser in the final fight by typing in some ingame code like grand theft autos cheats.I have a truthful friend who said him and his friend were playing againinst each other but they dont know how they did it.

No. Luigi was never in the original Super Mario 64. If your friend is so truthful, then he is probably mistaken.

Luigi is not in the first Sm64, You cant control bowser.

end topic.

This reminds me of a rumor I heard about the text on the star fountain in the original Mario 64 saying "L in M64 in 2004", which is a psychic revelation of Luigi being in Mario 64 DS, which was released in 2004. :)

That's bull. The fountain says "The L is real".

Where is this star fountain?

Is it the one in the courtyard?

I need to see this for myself...

And all of those photos are so fake it is beyond fakeness.

The Luigi in Mario 64 photos were some of the first doctored video game photos. [/fact]

OK, for anyone who is interested I have some images of the fountain.

Its on the plaque on the fountain in the courtyard with all the boos at the back of the castle.
I always wondered what was on the plaque.
The text is very unclear and blurry but here judge for yourself...

It is rather unclear what it says but I think that either "L is real" or "L in M64 2004" could be it for the top line.

I am thinking more towards "L is real" because it doesn't quite look like 2004 but more 24 and the second 2 numbers/letters are unclear.
This is interesting though if it does say 2004, the fact that Nintendo would plan something like that 8-9 years away.
Maybe it says something else.

I have no idea what the bottom line says. :|

That "L" could also be an "A" if you look at it close enough.

Posted by legov8

Either it says "L Is Real 2401" or "A Eternal Star".

Or how about it's just a scribble put onto to something to make it look as if it says something?

It doesnt say anything. It's not meant to. It's just decoration. Now shut up.
