I love Metallica!
Well ok, in the 80's they were pretty good. Still wouldn't call them the "best" even back then. But yeah, they were quite good.
I was kidding. I do like some of their stuff quite a bit, though. Sanitarium/Fade to Black ftw.
They rocked when just about everything was terrible. But, they suck now so who cares?

I've never really listened to much of anything by either band. I've heard a few popular songs from each one.
If you listen to the radio for ten minutes you'll here at least 3 Metallica songs. "One" has been seared into my brain for the rest of time.
