For some reason, I can never get past the second stage of Paltina. I don't know how to beat the emperor ... :(
Yeah, Gulcasa is pretty much a big ****ing pain in the *** early in the game. Your best bet is to give him the Curse status with Gravity Chaos, and steal his item. Milanor, Roswell, and Rosary are pretty much the only ones that stand a chance against him at this point in the game, especially Rosary since she has Void Fire, and won't take any damage while Gulcasa is in Rage.
