Did you know: Saying the color 'black' as your 'favorite color' isn't really an appropriate response considering that black is the absense of color? Or all the colors combined, pending on which way you think.

Vamp is right about the colors. That's why black heats up faster than white, because white reflects light, which carries heat, and black absorbs light. Also, did you ever see that Pink Floyd symbol with the prism, something which disperses light, splitting the beam of white light into every color? That actually happens.
Well, scientifically it's either the complete absorption of all electromagnetic radiation (microwave, infra-red, visible light, everything)... i.e. a blackbody. Or simply to the eye, the absence of visible light.
But she wasn't using it in scientific terms, so in that case black would be a mix of pigments that all absorb different parts of the spectrum mixed together.
