Everytime I try to connect to the GTS it keeps saying that I've been disconnected from the GTS right after it picks up my WiFi connection and logs me in....
anyone having this problem?

Well, the reason why your disconnected is that the server that hosts GTS may be full.
Other than that, it could be connection problems. This problem has happened to me, but has been working for other people. It wasn't a connection problem since I had 3-bar ping. But, it was a Saturday, when most people are home, and the day most people will probably play Pokemon. I'm pretty sure the server is full with too many player. ;)
