i have a madcatz control that has a "M" button right below the start & a M trigger below the the L shoulder, just so you can tell what model madcatz controller I have.
Anyways, when I'm playing through metroid prime, every once in a while I slightly move the stick to the right. When I do it extremely lightly however, sometimes it pulls off to the left, until I let the pressure off of the stick, resulting in me having to unplug it & replug it back in....
Since I got it from a pawn shop, the warranty is shot on it, so any good ideas on how to recalibrate it or fix the thing?
There is is not much you can do unfortunately
I treat my controllers like sh!t and I have the same problem
I own seven controllers and three are reliable the other four tend to crap out every now and then
The best thing to do is just buy a new controller
a new madcatz controller is 14.99
or you can get a new gamestop controler form... you guessed it games top for olny 7.99
or you could just buy a licensed one but tend to be a little more expensive compared to the 3rd party ones but they surely are good though...
no thanks, if anyone can find a "how to" guide on how to fix em, point me to it.
Your mistake was buying a controller made by Mad Catz
