You work on computers so it makes sense to ask you this.
Which is the better buy?

Oh, while I'm in this thread and since Arc made this really easy to find, do you have the Nyktalgia song "Schemes Amathia" from the Tormenting Legends II compilation album?

That one. But I'll tell you this, you're getting ripped off. Sony vaios are not a good deal at all. $1,500 is pretty pricey for what you're getting, so I'll suggest you don't get it. Look into Acer if you want a good laptop at a decent price. You can find something comparatively better for much cheaper.
But yeah, get the first if you really want it. Though it does depend on your needs. Vista Business you most likely don't need at all; 2 gigs of ram, though nice, is only needed if you're heavily into gaming; the HDD however is a nice size. As for the processor, dual core isn't really needed, but certainly nice to have. You can run more things at once without much slow down like you normally would when downloading a lot of music, browsing the web while burning a CD.
I'll AIM send it, because I do. Okay?
Vaios are expensive, but I love mine.
I got 2 months left so I'll check out more brands.
