So what have you done for mother's day?
On saturday, I went to have a beer with her and on sunday, I went to see the movie Hot Fuzz with her. We really had a great time. The gift I gave her was the first album of Arcade Fire. She really loves that band. For lunch we ate in a pub along with my step dad and my brother, and for supper, we had hot dogs and french fries. We were really about to puke at the end of the day :p:
I sent her an SMS.
I got her this card that unfolds into an even bigger card. No joke.
I got her a pop-up card and a huge box of her favorite chocolates.
We're an irish family so all I had to do was give mum a case of beer :)
took her out for breakfast and bought her a couple thing that added up pretty quickly to over 300...
Mother dearest kicked me out of the house when I was eight and is now doing a foul job of attempting to step back into my life.
I have no appreciation to show. Happy happy.
So apparantly Mother's Day is on an entirely different day in England. Weird.
How nice that I'm in a country where it doesn't exist at all, then.

I felt pretty bad about it, but I didn't really do anything other than give her a biiiiiiig huuuuug, considering I have no money etc. etc.
And I forgot about it, too, so I didn't get up and make breakfast or anything. :(
I got my mom a card. I wanted to get her flowers from this stand, but it started downpouring and I was at Taco Bell so. She liked the card either way. I just gave her like 50 bucks cash.
I forgot about it when it was the English date, so I got her a card and took her out for Chinese the day after.
